Good Day,
The Board of Directors functions as the executive arm of the HOA and is vital to the association's health. In Texas, the board is bound by state regulations and must align with the principles governing non-profit corporations. Each board member has a responsibility to act in the best interest of the association, providing direction and making decisions that reflect the collective will of the homeowners.
I would like to say thank you to everyone for having faith and trust in us the newly elected and appointed board members of the Settlers' Park Homeowners Association. On July 25, 2024, the community elected 2 new board members, and the board appointed two new members rounding out the Board of Directors to five members. The new Board of Directors are:
Claudia P. Shakespeare (3-year term up for election in 2025) - President
Daniel Brauhn (appointed to a 3-year term up for election in 2025) - Vice President
Mike Reichek (re-elected 2024 to a 3-year term up for election in 2027) – Treasurer
Tim Potter (appointed to 3-year term up for election in 2026) – Secretary
Nancy Dunham (Elected to a 3-year term up for election in 2027) - Member at Large
As the new Board of Directors, we look forward to working cohesively with the residents and helping to make the community a beautiful place to live. It is our goal to be transparent and communicate concisely and clearly. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
Sincerely,
Claudia
President
